Aldgate Ceremonies offers two fully qualified and registered celebrants, father and daughter team, Len Rolfe and Felicity Lawley-Sinclair. It would be our honour to officiate your ceremony.
Whether your dream is to have a grand affair or a private gathering, your desire is traditional, modern or just plain quirky, it is our wish to provide you with everlasting memories.
With our base in the Adelaide Hills, Aldgate Ceremonies is well placed to travel to most areas. We also like to holiday in this fantastic State so we are happy to travel to more distant locations.

Every important point in our lives should be marked by a celebration, a Rite of Passage, and is therefore special. The planning of such an event can be a challenging experience. Our aim is to work with you to design a ceremony to meet your requirements – your vision.
These celebrations include – weddings – baby naming – renewal of vows – significant birthdays – anniversaries – end of life ceremonies. In addition to these, you may wish to celebrate the naming of your boat – having a business conference and wish to have someone to ensure the event runs smoothly. We also acknowledge our pets are people too.
Whatever the celebration, it is your special day and should reflect your beliefs and style. However, if you don’t know where to start we can assist. With your guidance we can create a unique and special ceremony for you.
As your celebrant, we are here to help and advise. We can offer you materials and samples for:
- Ceremony format options to mix and match
- Assistance with writing your vows
- Advice and support with the legal requirements
- Preparation and lodgement of documentation
- Ideas for special ceremonies / rituals – family input (ie candles, sand, ring warmings, etc)
- Listing of music, readings and poems
- Assistance with the planning if you wish
- Rehearsal(s)
- PA system
- Signing table and chairs.
It is important to feel relaxed and confident with your celebrant. At Aldgate Ceremonies we recommend you spend all the time you need with us. Our first meeting is free of any obligation so we can get to know each other in a stress free and relaxed manner.
We have conducted weddings at the beach, in homes, parks, at wineries and farms and even the Monaro Zoo. These weddings, for as few as 5 to 180 people, have been as far a field as Burton, Christies Beach, Kangaroo Island, Currency Creek, Goolwa and points in between.
