Heidelberg Cakes

Heidelberg Cakes have been operating since 1991. We specialize in custom designed cakes including 1st birthday to wedding cakes. We have made over 90,000 custom designed celebration cakes in Adelaide in the last 25 years.

Most of our cakes are moist filled sponges such as citrus delicious (lemon curd and fresh cream) or Baci (hazelnut and chocolate) and served as the dessert. We make all our own fillings on premises using fresh eggs, cream and quality chocolate. We also make mud, fruitcake, cupcakes and croquembouches. We are very passionate about supplying gluten free cakes in most flavours and all designs.

Our showroom is full of cake examples as well as ipads showing 1000’s of past wedding cakes. We offer free tasting with all quotes and can design a cake with you on the spot. We sketch the cake with you so your dream becomes a reality.

We have 8 fully qualified staff members who are the ones that take the order and then make your cake.

We are the most awarded cake shop in Adelaide and the current South Australian and National Designer Cake winner, voted by past customers. We have made many iconic corporate cakes including the Festival Theatre, Adelaide Airport and just recently the Town Hall celebrating its 150 year. 3D and sculpting is a big part of our business. Some cakes can take days to decorate.
