Overview
Bayside Glamping is located in Marion Bay, on the beautiful Yorke Peninsula, on the doorstep of the gorgeous Dhilba-Gurranda Innes National Park. Only a 3.5 hour drive from Adelaide and you’ll arrive at your honeymoon oasis.
Bayside Glamping consists of a Glamping Tent and Tiny House.
Glamping Tent
The Glamping Tent is in the heart of Marion Bay, at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, in a private and secluded glamping wonderland.
You’ll drift off to sleep in the most comfiest queen bed, to the sound of waves crashing in the distance. The Tent is a spacious 5 metres in diameter, with luscious linens, and a beautiful atmosphere.
The site has an outdoor kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm, or make a yummy cheese platter to enjoy with a bottle of complimentary wine from Barley Stacks Wine. There is also the cutest dining nook on the deck, surrounded my greenery and birds chirping.
There is an indoor bathroom (no roughing it on your honeymoon) with a toilet and hot shower.
Our new cute bikes are perfect for cruising around our quaint town, or to the Tav!
Bayside’s Tiny House is located a few minutes outside of the town, nestled amongst nature, on a 50 acre property that is now revegetated farmland.
Tiff and her dad built this unique and charming place, using as many reclaimed materials as possible. The site is fully off the grid, running off solar and rain water.
There is a loft bed, dressed with soft linens, accessed via a ladder, with vast views of the beautiful area. The loft feels like your very own adult cubby house, and you might even spot one of the many kangaroos that live on the property.
The indoor kitchen is well equipped, and provides a few treats on arrival; like a complimentary bottle of wine from Barley Stacks Wine, Nourised by Jo’s luscious South Australian oranges, dipped in rich chocolate, Marion Bay sea salt, and Corny Point wattleseed, plus a selection of 5 loose leaf teas by Saha Botanica.
The living area includes a comfy lounge, gas heating, and a breakfast bar to enjoy the beautiful view.
The bathroom is indoors, with a hot shower and composting toilet.
The outdoor kitchen is great for BBQs, and the semi-detached hut is one of the highlights of our setup. The hut captures our gorgeous sunsets, and is the perfect place out of the weather to enjoy a cheese platter, wine, board games, arvo nap, or a quiet moment to read a book.
Marion Bay is a quiet coastal town, which is the perfect destination to disconnect and enjoy quality time together, while immersing yourself in nature. The town consists of two glorious beaches, a jetty, General Store and Tavern.
A park pass is included to Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park, which is only a 5 minute drive, where you’ll have access to some of the most spectacular beaches and lookouts in the country (oh no, we are not being bias, come see for yourself!). The Park is perfect for swimming, surfing, fishing, long walks and site seeing.
