How far in advance do I need to book my Adelaide wedding catering?

Wedding caterers can book out during peak wedding season. It’s advisable to book as soon as you set your date. You can pick a menu closer to your wedding day.

Which is cheaper, a cocktail, buffet, or sit-down dinner?

Buffets can be slightly cheaper. Guests serve themselves and this reduces the number of staff. However, buffets can become more expensive than sit-down dinners if there is a large choice of dishes. Typically, the more choices of meal whether it be buffet or sit-down, the more expensive it is. Cocktail receptions are usually more about mingling, they may be a similar price to a buffet and or sit-down with limited choices. Cocktail catering is charged per item and this can be $2 for something small like spring rolls to $15 or more for something more substantial like a noodle box.

Can my wedding cake be used as dessert?

Yes, a caterer may charge for plating and serving as dessert though.

If there are no cooking facilities at my venue what will the caterers do?
