Your South Australian Wedding Planner
Set in the tranquil Eastern Suburbs of Adelaide, Beaumont House and garden forms the ideal setting for weddings and other special functions.
Beaumont House was built by the first Anglican Bishop of Adelaide, Augustus Short, in 1849. It then became the home of Sir Samuel Davenport, politician, horticulturist and pioneer of the olive oil industry in South Australia. Now owned by the National Trust of South Australia and listed as a State heritage building, the house and gardens have been restored to their original conditions.
Beaumont House garden boasts sweeping lawns and shady trees, a perfect setting for your outdoor wedding ceremony and informal reception.
The Elizabeth Simpson Drawing Room can be used for indoor wedding receptions, informal gatherings, and as a bridal dressing room. French doors lead to the verandah and the steps down to the lawns.
The house and garden are both available for exclusive hire at weekends. Other times may be available on application. Beaumont House also offers a car park for guests, a dedicated marquee pad, a catering kitchen, outdoor and indoor chairs, trestle tables and a signing table. We are happy to work with your own preferred caterer, photographer and wedding hire company, or we can make a recommendation.
Please contact the National Trust Functions Manager, on (08) 8202 9200 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to book an appointment to visit Beaumont House, make a booking or to enquire about availability.
